MANILA, Philippines–Petro Gazz extended its winning streak to three in the PVL All-Filipino Conference after a 12-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-20 triumph over PLDT on Tuesday at PhilSports Arena.
The trio of Brooke van Sickle, Myla Pablo and Jonah Sabete propelled the Angels to their fourth in five games.

“Hindi din talaga sila papatalo sa defense. Naisip ko lang na papaluin ko lang to babasahin ko lang yung blockers. Buti naman kahit papano naging ok yung performance,” she added.

The High Speed Hitters dropped to a 3-2 record after a second consecutive loss despite Savi Davison’s game-high 28 points built on 26 hits. She also had 12 excellent receptions and nine excellent digs.
Petro Gazz looks to continue its winning ways against undefeated Cignal on Saturday for its final game of the year. PLDT, meanwhile, won’t be back until a clash with Akaro on January 18.
