Singer Jayda Avanzado and actress Loisa Andalio shared their respective ghost encounters as well as their Halloween plans and favorite spooky movies.

In an interview with INQUIRER.net during the recent premiere night of “Gatekeepers,” Avanzado admitted that she was first doubtful about the supernatural phenomena until she experienced certain encounters with loved ones who had already passed away.

“I would say yes. At first I admit that I was a little skeptical. But I’ve had a couple run when it comes to supernatural and ghosts that sometimes you will hear things come the hours of 3 am. Sometimes you don’t know if it’s just your imagination or if it’s really there. Sometimes with certain family members who will let their presence known. Like when they passed, you suddenly smell the strong scent of dead flowers,” she said.

Aside from the aforementioned, Avanzado stressed that she hasn’t had any specific face-to-face encounters with ghosts like the one that would actually terrorize her.

Meanwhile, for Halloween plans, the “Right Lover Wrong Time” singer shared that she is still thinking about what she’s going to dress up as, but one thing is for sure: she said that she is going to spend the occasion with her friends.

Meanwhile, Andalio shared that while she has had encounters with ghosts, she was not one to get scared of them.

“I believe in ghosts because of course there are bad or evil spirits here, but I’m not just afraid of them. Because once you have God, you are more powerful, you will not be afraid. I’ve had an encounter but I’m not afraid. When suddenly someone passes by, they say that when you look at something else in the dark, someone is looking at you; I have moments like that,” she told INQUIRER.net during the recent premiere night of her e-sports film “Friendly Fire.”

Unlike Avanzado, Andalio shared that she’s certain that she would not be dressing up or going out for this year’s Halloween, citing that it’s hard to find an open window in her schedule.

Andalio then named the 2006 Filipino horror movie “Sukob,” starring Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto, as her favorite Halloween movie.
